Just a friendly reminder that if you are unable to make it to your scheduled swimming lesson to mark yourself absent on My Portal. This will allow you to book a make-up lesson for any of the classes that you miss.

The holiday season is upon us!
As we prepare for the upcoming holiday season, we would like to remind all of our families about some crucial BlueFit Swimming dates.
The last day of Learn To Swim classes will be on Friday 22nd of December 2023.
Classes will resume after a short break on Wednesday 3rd of January 2024!
Rest assured, the direct debit system is also taking a break. As a result of this you will not be charged for classes within this period.
Keep an eye out for our Christmas operating hours, which we will communicate with you closer to the date. Until then, make the most of your last few swimming lessons to finish the year strong!

For one week only, BlueFit Swimming transformed all of our aquatic centres into superhero training grounds. Throughout the week, our swimming instructors educated students on all things water safety with a specific water safety lesson plan. This includes educating students the following:

Construction work is now underway to upgrade our Swim School in Bankstown to create a modern, best in class new swim school for our families. We understand that your children are likely to be missing their weekly lessons at Bankstown and our team can’t wait to welcome you back!
Our new swim school remains under construction with demolition works recently completed. Construction of our upgraded pool, plant room and amenities have commenced and we are looking forward to announcing an opening date in mid-2024!
Our lessons at Bankstown will leverage over 30 years of knowledge and experience in teaching babies, children and adults to learn to swim. We will run infants swimming lessons from 6 months old, children’s learn to swim lessons and adult swimming lessons.
We understand that securing a spot at a quality swim school can be quite challenging these days. That’s why we want to reassure you that your existing day and time slot at our Bankstown location, as of the time of closure, is securely reserved for you upon our reopening in mid-2024! Your loyalty and trust mean the world to us, and we’re committed to making your return to our swim school a seamless and enjoyable experience.

Learn to Swim Instructor: The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching, a welcoming and bright disposition, and enjoy working with children. As well as, previous experience, or willingness to learn, to work with infant levels (highly regarded). Our team is filled with friendly and vibrant personalities. Our programs are year-round and are conducted in heated indoor pools. If you love teaching and working with children, are seeking a highly rewarding job or career and can be a reliable team member then this position is for you! | Lifeguards: Our lifeguards are fundamental to the safety and enjoyment of our members and guests, therefore applicants require customer service, pool supervision and time management skills. We are so glad to have you and your family enjoying our facility and we are excited to welcome back our Learn To Swim and squads program from Friday 12 November with the first debit on Friday 19th November.
Please note due to the current public health orders by the VIC Government you will need to be fully vaccinated to enter the centre. This is important. Everyone aged 16 years and over must have had both shots of your COVID-19 vaccine to enter our facilities. Please show proof at entry. This includes both using the facility and accompanying children to swimming lessons.
If you need to cancel swimming lessons please click here to complete a cancellation request no later than midday, Thursday 11th November. If we are unable to run your child’s lesson due to staff availability we will reach out to you separately.
